about the author

Josephine Spencer is a wife, mother, grandmother, and mentor. She is a breast cancer survivor, a disabled Army veteran, and a retiree from the State of Texas. Josephine is passionate about helping young women discover their worth, strengthen their confidence, and become who they were created to be.

As a cancer survivor, Josephine understands resilience not as the absence of hardship, but as the ability to accept a situation and refuse to let it rob you of your belief in who you are and who you are yet to become.

The purpose of her writing is to help girls move beyond the pressures of perfection and step into the fullness of who they were created to be.

Sometimes young women need guidance more than instruction-and a steady voice that reassures them that their becoming is already in motion.
